About Me

Thank you for visiting my site.
I’m a Cardiff University graduate with a first class degree in English Language. My dissertation involved a critical analysis of the language used by the UK press in women’s sport. During University, I started to write.
I have now written for and have bylines with WalesOnline Sport, the Huffington Post UK, uMAXit Football theSPORTbible and FantasyFootballPundits. I have broadened my scope more recently, delving into mental health and society with my Huffington Post blog.
Cricket is the sport that brings me most joy when writing, but football writing’s sheer abundance gives me plenty of opportunities to get my style out there . Since enjoying a two-week placement with The Cricketer Magazine, I developed my cricket writing immensely and am very excited to feature in their no.1 magazine. The game is so unique and provides so many talking points that set it apart from others. That said, I am willing to try my hand at any sport.
I may only be 23, but I have experienced more than some do in a life time. I’m a cancer and HLH survivor and am planning a book on my unique story of survival. I have written a blog on mental health, trauma and university culture that hit relative heights. That gave me great joy. Lifestyle, health and society are avenues which I would definitely consider given my perspective on life.
I sincerely hope you enjoy my style of writing.
